New! Mindful Heart Art Studio

Hello friends! I am now offering 1:1 and group Mindful Heart Art workshops and launching a new online studio. I will be sharing on Instagram @mindful_heart_artstudio and in this blog. I am a strong believer that creative expression can be an incredibly powerful form of therapy for those who suffer from trauma and anxiety.


Why therapeutic art? Therapeutic art can serve as a safe, healthy outlet for emotions, allowing us to process them in a constructive way. Creative expression can be anything from writing, painting, drawing, and sculpting, to making music, dancing, and singing. It can also involve creative problem-solving strategies, like brainstorming or creating a vision board. By engaging in creative expression, individuals can gain some much-needed relief from their trauma and anxiety.


Creative expression can also help us to reframe our thoughts and beliefs about ourselves and our experiences. We can use it to create a narrative around our traumas that allows us to move forward in a positive way. Through creative expression, we can explore the root cause of our anxiety and gain insight into our own thought processes. It can also help to build resilience, as we learn to recognize our strengths and weaknesses, and find ways to create balance in our lives.


Above all, creative expression should be a fun and enjoyable experience. It can be done in whatever way feels most comfortable and natural for the individual. There is no right or wrong way to do it, and it is ultimately up to the individual to decide what works best for them. Creative expression can be a powerful tool in managing trauma and anxiety, and it can help us to live our best lives.
